Looking for an easy, yet decadent holiday breakfast? Black Forest Paleo Pancakes look amazing, and are so simple; rich chocolate and tart cherries topped with whipped cream. Like having chocolate cake for breakfast! I think chocolate cake for breakfast is the only adult breakfast to have!
Are you ready? The holidays are here! My immediate family doesn't do much celebrating, so Christmas has never been a big deal. I usually work, and this year it will be work as usual. Having never celebrated as a kid, I am apathetic at best when the holidays roll around. But I have to say, I love wrapping presents! I will tolerate Christmas carols, drink eggnog, and wrap other peoples gifts for them; it's one of my favorite things! I am a wrap master: taping and curling ribbon; risking paper cuts and getting glitter on me. The perils of holiday wrapping!
Of course, a treat like Irish Cream Eggnog Ice Cream or some Schweddy balls are the perfect wrapping fuel, but I would wrap boxes just for the love of it. I would also spend the entire Christmas span (eve, day & Boxing day) at home in my PJ's; watching Die Hard, Indiana Jones, and James Bond while eating butter tarts (non-paleo). So… it's probably good that I work. I may not believe in Christmas, but I have always believed in butter tarts and PJ movie marathons!
However you celebrate or don't, I hope you get some time doing something, and/or seeing the people you love; enjoying great food and loving company!
