Maple Bacon Corn

  • Fresh cob of corn (one per person)
  • 2 slices bacon per cob
  • sprinkle salt per cob
  • 1/4 tsp maple syrup per cob


  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Shuck and wash the corn.
  3. Lay the cob on a square piece of tinfoil, sprinkle with maple syrup and salt.
  4. Wrap the bacon diagonally attaching the ends to cover the length of the corn.
  5. Place diagonally and wrap with tinfoil.
  6. Repeat until all cobs are wrapped, place on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 45 minutes, turning once around the halfway point.
  7. Pull them out of the oven and carefully unwrap, there will be steam, place back into the oven to crisp up the bacon for 15 minutes, turning once again at the halfway point.
