I’m Raj. Take a second:

To say that I love food would be a severe understatement. Food is everything! It is nourishment. It’s fun. It’s creative. It’s health. It’s social. It’s spiritual. It’s a reason to get out of bed in the morning (or afternoon. …or in the middle of the night). It’s enjoyment. It’s comfort. Food is love!
Being trained as a pharmacist, healthy lifestyle habits are incredibly important to me -because I sure don’t want to be taking medications if I can prevent it!!! My time in healthcare has emphasized how crucial it is for us human beings to make smart healthy decisions, and food- well like I said: food is everything.
Since we (you, or soon-to-be-you, Holley, and myself) have decided to base our eating strategy on a diet (di·et noun: the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats.-Google – eg. I’m not “on a diet”, this is how I eat) that restricts the kind of food that the majority of the population regularly crams down their pie-holes, we had better make our cuisine braggable! I’ll be honest, I have cheat days. I’m too much of a foodie to completely eliminate foods from my life. So my strategy is this: When I’m at home and cooking, I eat (lacto-)Paleo, and if I’m out I’ll eat what I want – keep in mind I don’t eat out very often (have you seen the food I eat at home?!).
You can read more about why I’ve decided to become a food blogger here and about my cooking influences here. Read about Holley, her influences, and why she decided to be a food blogger. She’s a cool chick, and is always a highly entertaining read. And the girl can bake like nobody’s business!
