OK, I made this raspberry guacamole in the summer which was great on a fresh salad. After tasting it I thought maybe I'd try another bold twist: add chocolate (cacao)! I felt like these were both wins, but I did make a couple alterations after this initial trial. I typically like my guacamole chunky, but the Raspberry Chocolate Guacamole Mousse didn't look so appetizing like that. By blending it smooth and making it a more uniform texture, it made for a nicer mousse-like dessert topping – fantastic on coconut ice cream!
By the way, there is a sweet sale on paleo e-books going on next week. For 24 hours on November 25, 2014, twelve great paleo recipes will be available for $0.99. One of the books that has made a HUGE difference to my life: The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf. 99¢!!! There are a bunch of other GREAT paleo titles in there like Everyday Paleo and Mark Sisson's “The Primal Blueprint”! You can sign up for email notifications for the day before at Buck Books, and yes, this is an affiliate link, but the only reason I'm mentioning this in the first time is because these are books that I recommend to people every day, and a buck is nice and cheap, which I also like. They have sales daily on different topics (there's been a bunch of do-it-yourself style books that I really liked the last couple of days). I should probably read Sisson's Blueprint…
Speaking of which, what are some of your favorite paleo books (recipe or other)?
