- ½ large red onion (thinly sliced)
- ½ tsp sumac powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and massage into the onions.
- Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Store in a glass container in the refrigerator and use to top all kinds of savory dishes.
