One of my all-time favorite movies is Zoolander. In honor of the memory of Rufus, Brint, and Meekus (see video below if those names don't ring a bell) and because Zoolander 2 was released this weekend, I wanted to make a Zoolander Paleo Orange Mocha Frappuccino (is it just me, or is “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” playing in everyone's heads right now?).
It's Valentine's Day, and I'm in no way against anything that celebrates love, but since neither Holley or I have partners there wasn't any real drive to push a special Valentine's post (but you can always check out the ones we did last year – obviously these recipes are good everyday! Strawberry Bacon Roses with Chocolate Balsamic Reduction and Paleo Chocolate Lavender Muffins). I'll just be spending the day with the child (The Primal Desire) – You may have noticed that it is now loading quite a bit faster! I am so happy to say that this was a result of changing servers (if you're looking for a web server, I recommend you check out https://www.siteground.
But Zoolander 2! This is something to celebrate this weekend! This sequel, as most, wasn't as good as the first – but I still quite enjoyed it. Penelope Cruz looked damn hot. The cameos were great – even Justin Bieber. I really like Billy Zane's role in these movies, which made me realize: I couldn't think of any of his major movies. After looking him up, the doctor in The Memphis Bell was probably my favorite Zane character aside from his zoolander roles (If you haven't seen it, check it out). Who else? Sting! He was great. Oh, and Kiefer Sutherland. I love when people can laugh at themselves, and everyone in this movie did a great job of this!
There is a good chance I'll watch the first Zoolander again today. BTW, you know that Eric Northman from True Blood (Alexander Skarsgård) was Derek's friend Meekus? Check it out: “Eric Northman VS Meekus” video:
Oh yeah: I'm definitely watching the original with my own Zoolander Paleo Orange Mocha Frappuccino again today! Happy Valentine's Day everybody. Much love!
